Refund, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Important information about flight ticket refunds, cancellations, and date changes.
At RTW Global Services, we strive to provide a smooth booking experience for our customers. However, all flight tickets are governed by the fare rules, cancellation policies, and refund conditions set by the respective airline service providers.
Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility depends on the airline, fare type, booking class, route, and cancellation timing. Some fares are fully refundable, while others may be partially refundable or completely non-refundable.
In the event of a cancellation, the airline may deduct cancellation charges, airline service fees, GST, convenience fees, and other applicable charges before processing any refund. The remaining eligible amount, if any, will be refunded to the original payment method used during booking.
Cancellation Charges
Cancellation charges are determined entirely by the airline and may vary from one booking to another. Depending on the airline's fare rules, cancellation deductions may range from 10% to 100% of the ticket value.
Examples:
- Flexible fares may allow partial or substantial refunds after applicable deductions.
- Standard fares may attract moderate cancellation penalties.
- Promotional, discounted, corporate, group, and special fares are often non-refundable or carry high cancellation charges.
Rescheduling / Date Change Policy
Passengers may request date or flight changes subject to airline approval and seat availability. Airlines may charge:
- Fare difference between the original and new ticket.
- Airline rescheduling fee.
- Applicable taxes and service charges.
The total amount payable for a date change depends on the airline's policy and fare category.
Time Limits for Cancellation
- Domestic Flights: cancellation or rescheduling requests should generally be submitted at least 2 hours before departure.
- International Flights: cancellation or rescheduling requests should generally be submitted at least 4 hours before departure.
Requests made after airline cut-off times may be treated as a "No Show" and may not qualify for any refund.
No-Show Policy
If a passenger fails to board the flight without prior cancellation, the booking may be considered a No-Show by the airline. In such cases, refunds may be reduced significantly or may not be available at all, depending on the airline's fare rules.
Refund Processing Time
Once approved by the airline, refunds are generally processed within 7 to 21 working days. Actual credit timelines may vary depending on the airline, payment gateway, bank, and payment method used during booking.
Important Disclaimer
RTW Global Services acts solely as a travel booking facilitator and does not determine refund amounts, cancellation fees, or fare rules. All refunds, cancellations, rescheduling charges, baggage policies, and ticket conditions are governed exclusively by the respective airline service provider.
The final refundable amount, if any, will be calculated according to the airline's policy applicable at the time of cancellation. By making a booking through RTW Global Services, customers acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions imposed by the airline operating the flight.
Note: Certain special fares, promotional fares, instant-discount fares, corporate fares, and low-cost airline tickets may be completely non-refundable and may not be eligible for cancellation or modification after booking confirmation.
